EPOS Overview
The
EPOS Tool Tasks are the calculation, evaluation of inventories based on legal
requirements and the maintenance/ generation of internal transfer prices.
The following applications are part of the EPOS Tools:
*C/3
Calculation and Transfer Pricing -- Product, Plant, Facility Calculation.
*I/3 Inventory.
*P/3 Administration of production quantities.
*G/3 Profit & Loss Calculation.
*C/3 is the central calculation software of the Infineon Technologies AG. The
calculation in C/3 calculates the values for inventory, transfer prices,
Customs / Import US, EPO-registration, Floor, KTR cost distribution, rejects,
assessment of price risks, turnover.
The
calculation in C/3 meets the requirements of the GOB (Grundsätze der
ordentlichen Buchführung = Principles of regulary bookkeeping) and has been
accepted by the responsible economic auditors. Responsible for the economic
background and the requirements of the calculation is the department IFAG RPC
SL T in Regenburg. User support and all IT concerning questions are covered by
the department IFAG IT CBS FIN in Munich, Grasbrunn.
EPOS is a single data bank where the individual applications C/3 (Calculation),
I/3 (Inventory), Q/3(quality costs / rejects – pilot phase) and P/3 (quantities
within production – planned) with their different functionalities are put on.
